zang: zang: is a record label and a concert promoter from Stavanger, Norway. It is run by Pål Asle Pettersen and Helge Olav Øksendal. Zang's main purpose is to promote music that's innovative and experimental within a wide range of genres. zang:concert series A concert series at Tou Scene whichhas been going on since 2005. With this series we've wanted to create a stage for the innovative and experimental music that exists in Stavanger. But we have also brought in international and national artists like Scorn, Felix Kubin, Roel Meelkop, Frans de Waard, Crazy River and Fredrik Ness Sevendal. zang:records Originally started with the purpose of releasing our own albums. However, we have extended our label gradually, and we now hav a number of releases behind us with both local, national and international artists, including Roel Meelkop, Frans de Waard, Sonarophon and the upcoming albums by Anders Gjerde and Forus.
